The Invitation Process

After carefully considering all options, we have evolved our pricing to reflect the changing landscape so we can continue to commit to matching the best in global luxury travel in one place to do business, provide bespoke diaries, and network face-to-face. This means we have introduced a flat 250 EUR registration fee for all luxury travel agents, designers, and advisors wishing to attend. As reluctant as any of us are to incur more costs, we hope you will see this as a small price to pay for full access to the luxury travel industry and the experience that is ILTM Cannes.

Appointment-Making Buyers:

  • Networking invitations to official ILTM events
  • 3 days of pre-scheduled appointments (6-8 December inclusive)
  • Up to four nights’ stay at one of our host properties
  • Transfers between host hotel and venue (if applicable)

Executive Buyers:

  • Networking invitations to official ILTM events
  • Flexible attendance (an additional 1000 EUR is required, bringing your total fees to 1250 EUR)
  • Access to the Self-Scheduled Appointments tool to arrange meetings, if you wish
  • Accommodation and travel are excluded from the Executive Buyer programme, so this will be at your own expense

No, all registration fees are non-refundable so will not be reimbursed.

The Application Process

Please note the above is an enquiry only and does not count as being registered for the event. Completed applications will be assessed against the ILTM qualification criteria and the ILTM Buyer Team will come back to you with a response in due course.

We endeavour to get back to applicants within 2 weeks of their application having been submitted. However, this is subject to the number of applications received at the time. Please note: it is essential you complete the application form fully with as much detail as possible to speed up the process and avoid further delays.

This year, due to a limited number of buyer places available, we expect a higher demand to attend, meaning our qualification process for ILTM Cannes may take slightly longer than usual.

To be accepted as a Buyer, you are required to fulfil the qualifying criteria set by ILTM:

  • Operate on an outbound basis to multiple markets, across a minimum of two continents;
  • Show evidence of recent or future bookings placed in luxury travel;
  • Provide us with three references, two of which must be direct luxury property bookings - all bookings must be made in the last 6 months or for future months (or prior to COVID-19), where applicable;
  • Be an established player in the marketplace for a minimum of 12 months;
  • Be a senior decision-maker with the authority to procure luxury travel products and services;
  • Do not intend to sell or promote your product at ILTM.

All applications will be verified by the ILTM team using the information supplied on the application form, websites, other sources of information and in some instances, a follow-up telephone call will be made. ILTM review each applicant on its own merits and make the final decision on whether the application can be approved. It is important to complete the application form with as much detail as possible.

As a condition of receiving the complimentary services from ILTM, Hosted Buyers and Appointment Only Buyers will be required to:

  • participate actively in the Pre-Scheduled Appointment Programme; Hosted Buyers and Appointment Only Buyers will be required to select and rank in order of importance a minimum of 70 appointment preferences, completing the appointment selections within the stated timeframe indicated to them by the Show Team;
  • attend all three full days of appointments between 6 – 8 December 2022 inclusive, all networking and educational events scheduled by ILTM and included by the Show Team in their diary;
  • wear a delegate badge and appropriate business dress as a condition of entry to the Exhibition.

All applicants for the ILTM Cannes Buyer Programme are required to supply valid credit card details as part of the application. ILTM also require a registration fee (250 EUR), a receipt for this amount will be provided. You will be able to print a copy of your receipt in the Buyer Zone This fee is non-refundable. Should cancellation or No Show charges apply, they will be debited from the credit card details you supply here. No other charges for cancellation, travel changes or no show will be made against a valid credit card without prior notification.

Once Approved/Qualified

Currently, we are reviewing the entry requirements in line with the French government and also the guidelines set by the venue. 

On the Buyer Zone login page, click the forgotten password link and you will be sent an email to reset your password. Alternatively, please contact the Buyer Team by emailing us at iltmteam@rxglobal.com and the team can assist you.

The zone is personalised for each buyer and is accessed via your unique login and password. The Buyer Zone gives you the tools to:

  • Select your Pre-Scheduled Appointment Preferences;
  • Make additional Self-Scheduled Appointments;
  • Keep up to date on what is going on during ILTM Cannes 2022;
  • View your travel and accommodation, as soon as it is finalised;
  • Access visa and transfer information;
  • Print your credit card validation receipt.

Unfortunately, not. ILTM does not cover:

  • Travel insurance;
  • Private transfers;
  • Meals onsite unless hosted by event partners;
  • Hotel upgrades;
  • Additional nights’ accommodation;
  • Personal extras;
  • Costs incurred.*

*Including expenses related to testing positive for COVID-19 during, before, or after the event; this should be covered by your personal travel insurance.

ILTM will be continuing with its 'print at home' style badging. Before the event (circa 2 weeks), you will be sent your badge via email to be printed at home before arriving onsite. 

Like always, we will still operate using photo badging, where each badge has a photograph digitally attached to it and only that person is permitted to use the badge. 

Your badge is required to enter all appointments, networking and educational events onsite, so please ensure you have this on you at all times.

If you have any issues regarding your badge whilst onsite, please head to the Registration Area where the team will be able to assist you.

The ILTM multi-event app will enhance your onsite experience by helping you manage your time at ILTM. Download the ILTM app and select ILTM Cannes to plan your show via your mobile device. Please ensure that you use the ILTM App as your diary for the week. Details on the app will be provided two weeks before the event.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available on the show floor, across all levels.

Travel & Accommodation

Once approved for the programme, you can download a visa support letter from within your Buyer Zone.

Attendance of all 3 days is mandatory for Hosted Buyers as well as Appointment Only Buyers. Hosted Buyers are not permitted to leave the Exhibition until all appointments are completed (Hosted Buyers wishing to leave the Exhibition early must obtain prior consent from the ILTM Team in writing, otherwise cancellation fees will apply as set out in ILTM Cannes 2022 Terms and Conditions).

Alternatively, if you wish to attend earlier and leave later then you can do so but this will be at your own cost as ILTM is only able to host for the event dates only. We invite you to apply for the flexible Executive Buyer badge, at the cost of €1250, which provides entry to the event, the opportunity to make appointments but also the flexibility to attend at your own pace and time. Accommodation is not provided for Executive Buyers at ILTM.

We want to be completely transparent with you and inform you that there will not be a hosted flight option available this year. Previously, ILTM hosted less than one-third of buyer flights for ILTM Cannes, however much of the industry landscape has changed over the past 2 years, and in turn our hosting policy has also adapted. In order to ensure we are being fair to all parties paying the fee, we have removed our hosted flight option moving forward, however, we do still provide up to 4 nights’ accommodation for the duration of the event for all diary-holding attendees. 

Prior to the show, please contact our Travel Team, your account manager directly or another member of the ILTM Team on iltmteam@rxglobal.com. Please note that changes to accommodation are subject to availability and buyers will be responsible for any costs incurred, for example, any upgrading.

When onsite at the event, please come to the ILTM Support Area where our Travel Team will be happy to assist you.

On arrival at Nice airport, you will be greeted by ILTM staff, who will check your name and direct you to the Hosted Buyer transportation. If you are departing on Thursday evening after the event has finished, there will also be a shuttle bus running from the venue to the airport (timings due soon).

Appointments

The exhibitor list can be viewed on the ILTM Cannes website, under the Exhibitor Directory tab in the navigation menu.

A Pre-Scheduled Appointment is a 20-minute one to one appointment between a buyer and an exhibitor on the show floor. Each buyer must select a minimum of 70 exhibitors they would like to see and then rank them in order of their preference.

Approximately 4 weeks prior to the event, our system will match your preferences with exhibitors’ choices. Your matched and confirmed appointments will then be shown in your Buyer Zone. It is mandatory to attend 15 Exhibitor Appointments per day of attendance. 

Yes. The Self-Scheduled Appointments (SSA) tool will allow you to request appointments with Exhibitors that you do not have a Pre-Scheduled Appointment with as well as accept appointment invitations sent to you by Exhibitors. Please allow some time for Exhibitors to respond to your request.

Please visit the exhibitor's stand at the earliest opportunity to arrange another time for the appointment so that they do not report you as a missed appointment. 

If the missed appointment is reported, it shall be treated as a cancellation of attendance and the Hosted Buyer may incur a cancellation fee of €100 per missed appointment. If Exhibitors report over ten no shows from one Hosted Buyer, the Hosted Buyer will incur a cancellation fee of €1000 and will not be invited to future ILTM events.

Attendance of any Online Diary appointment that has been scheduled in the Executive Buyer’s diary is also considered mandatory. Missing such appointments may jeopardise your future involvement at the Exhibition.

Once the appointment schedule has been matched, we will be sent a copy via email and can also access it via the mobile app. ILTM will not be printing Appointment Diaries onsite. Instead, please download the ILTM mobile app or save the PDF from your email for electronic access.

Appointments are matched through the online system according to the preferences you have selected, you will not be able to change the appointment.

You must cancel your attendance at ILTM Cannes in writing by email directly to your account manager or to [email protected].

This will not be effective until you have received a written acknowledgement from the ILTM Team. Please refer to the ILTM Cannes 2022 Terms and Conditions regarding applicable cancellation fees.

Yes. Fees vary depending on the date of written cancellation being acknowledged by the ILTM Team. Please see our Buyer Terms & Conditions for further information about cancellation and “No Show” fees. Charges will be debited from the credit card details provided at registration. Buyers who cancel due to medical reasons will be required to provide a medical note of verification that you are unable to travel.  

Invitations are non-transferable. Should a circumstance arise whereby the qualified buyer has to cancel their participation, they may request to substitute another person from their organisation. ILTM may choose to accept the substitute after reviewing the buyer’s fully completed registration.
