The health and safety of our colleagues, partners and guests remain our number one priority. Our Global COVID-19 ‘Safety Shows’ Health and Safety strategy aims to reduce the assessed risks of COVID-19 by complementing and building on those community and other industry safeguards already deployed outside of the trade exhibition and event setting. This strategy demonstrates to all our partners and guests that we are able to run COVID-19 safe and compliant shows in the countries where we are permitted. Event health and safety precautionary guidelines are subject to change as directed by the local authorities, please keep reading for ILTM North America-specific information. 

Safety protocols

For all those joining us in Mayakoba this September, learn about our increased hygiene measures, social distancing management and medical safeguarding.


To avoid overcrowding, registration will be made through ILTM’s self-badge printing platform. All badges are to be printed before the event.

Antigen Test

All participants will be required to take the ANTIGEN TEST either on Monday 20 September (all day) or on Tuesday 21 September (morning)


Temperature checks/screening will be mandatory for all attendees wishing to enter the convention space at Fairmont Mayakoba.


Hand sanitiser will be provided for all tables and available throughout the Convention Centre, including all entrance and exit points.


Use of masks will be mandatory when inside the Convention Centre and recommended in outdoor spaces.


All networking events will be taking place outdoors in the wide open spaces of Mayakoba!


According to local government standards, e.g. 1.5m/6ft. between all tables and meeting participants.


The event’s maximum capacity limit will be reduced according to local government standards.
