Embracing the theme ‘Back to Life’, ILTM Latin America 2019 will invite its guests – luxury travel experiences from across the world and agents representing the wealthiest of travellers from across Latin America - on a new journey: encouraging their high net worth travelling clients’ to slow down and embrace their inner selves when choosing their leisure travel itineraries across the next decade.

Health and Wellness has been increasingly driving global travel choices around the globe and is set to define the future of luxury travel, estimated to generate US$919 billion by 2022 according to the Global Wellness Institute. Recent research by Cornell University also reveals that investing in experiences that create lasting memories, rather than goods, substantially increases the chances of a happier, more meaningful life.

Simon Mayle, ILTM Latin America Event Director comments:

“According to the Global Wellness Institute, whether consumers choose high-intensity adventure or a mindful escape, they are making travel decisions based on health and wellness. The ‘back to life’ philosophy at ILTM Latin America will ensure that luxury travel providers can explore the practicalities of introducing new opportunities to immerse their clients in ‘healing’ environments during their travels.”
