ILTM Africa, in-conjunction with Explore More Travel, will be offering a series of morning activities for Buyers at The Vineyard Hotel, to get their mornings started on the right note. Space is limited.

YOGA IN THE GARDENS

Vineyard Gardens

Monday 11 April | 7:00am – 7:45am

Tuesday 12 April | 6:30am – 7:15am

Time to stretch and get that body ready for a day of meetings. Our expert Yoga instructor will guide you through some great yoga stretches and movements, whether you are a beginner or regular yoga fundi…. you will be refreshed and ready to get to your ILTM meetings.

Requirements:
Yoga clothing or comfortable exercise clothing Yoga mats will be provided.

Max numbers:
10 people per session

VINEYARD GARDEN TOUR

Vineyard Gardens

Monday 11 April | 7:00am – 7:45am

Tuesday 12 April | 6:30am – 7:15am

Meet up with the hotel’s resident head horticulturist, and get to explore the amazing gardens that surround The Vineyard Hotel. The eight-acre property is home to a diverse range of fauna and flora is as innovative and groundbreaking as it was when the original house was built in February 1800. Get to discover more about South African’s indigenous plants, sample some of the edible plants, and then visit the hotel’s roof-top Veggie garden.

6/7KM MORNING RUN

Vineyard Gardens to Rhodes Memorial & back

Monday 11 April | 7:00am – 7:45am

Tuesday 12 April | 6:30am – 7:15am

Join us for an run through the surrounding leafy suburbs of Newlands, onto the base of Table Mountain and up to Rhodes Memorial to enjoy the spectacular morning views of Cape Town. We will have 2 pace setters for differing speeds, but ultimately it is just about getting out and enjoying a beautiful run in the heart of Cape Town.

Requirements:
Running shoes and enough energy/fitness for a 7km run.

Max numbers:
10 people per session

Explore More Adventure, a division of Explore More Travel, will be offering some additional fun adventure activities for those wanting to see and experience a bit more of what Cape Town has to offer. These activities do have a small fee payable, and are outside the ILTM Africa event and strictly subject to signing an indemnity form.

LEARN TO SURF

Muizenberg Beach

Wed 13th April (late afternoon) or Thurs 14th April (early morning)

Learn to Surf at Gary’s Surf School, South Africa’s original surf school since 1989. We will get you geared up (wetsuits and surfboards included) and our experienced instructors will teach you the basics you need to know to get you up and riding on a wave. Muizenberg is the perfect place to learn how to surf in Cape Town…warm water and great beginner waves!

Requirements:
Swimming gear, adventurous spirit and a smile

Duration: 4 hours (including transfers and land-based briefing)

Max numbers: 4 people

Cost: R500 (includes wet suit and board hire)

LEARN TO PLAY GOLF

Steenberg Golf Club

Wed 13th April (late afternoon) or Thurs 14th April (early morning)

Today’s lesson is at Steenberg Golf Club, a premier golf course in the Constantia winelands. EOGA PGA Qualified instructors offer unique individual attention to students, as well as a 5 star experience and a holistic approach to game improvement, using state-of-the-art technology to validate their philosophy. The academy is the perfect way to learn the basics of the game in the heart of the winelands.

Requirements:
Suitable golf attire and shoes, and patience!

Duration: 3-hours (including transfer times)

Max numbers: 4 - 6 people

Cost: R500 (includes club hire)

MOUNTAIN BIKING IN TABLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK

Newlands Forest

Wed 13th April (late afternoon) or Thurs 14th April (early morning)

Cape Town has some of the best mountain-biking routes available, and all on the doorstep of the Vineyard Hotel - spectacular views of the Cape Peninsula. Join us with our expert bike guides and ride a 25km - 30km route of jeep and single track through Newlands Forest and Kirstenbosch Gardens.

Requirements: Riding gear and riding shoes (helmets will be provided). Mid-level MTB riding skills and fitness required.

Duration: 3 hours

Max numbers: 4 – 6 people

Cost: R500 (includes soft-tail MTB bike hire) or R1000 (includes E-bike hire)
